Welcome to Kuala Lumpur. With the main exhibition taking place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and satellite events, workshops, and competitions hosted at gyms across the city, getting around efficiently will help you make the most of KL Climbing Week. Use this guide to navigate transit, plan your travel time, and move seamlessly between venues.

From KLCC
Located directly beside KLCC Park and the PETRONAS Twin Towers, with Suria KLCC, hotels, dining and shopping within walking distance.

Nearest Train Rail
Accessible via the Abdullah Hukum LRT station or KTM Commuter rail, with a pedestrian link leading directly into the KL Eco City and Mid Valley area.
From KLCC
Travel from KL Eco City to KLCC is by taking the LRT Kelana Jaya Line, which connects both locations directly without any train transfers or via Grab or driving estimate 20-40 min depending on traffic.

Moving Through The Klang Valley
KL's e-hailing apps are the easiest way between venues, hotels, and food. Rail covers the rest if you're planning ahead.
E-hailing
Grab, Bolt, and InDrive all operate throughout the Klang Valley (KL and Selangor). They offer the most convenient way to travel between KLCC and partner gyms like Camp5. Fares are calculated directly in-app, so there is no need to negotiate rates.
Train - LRT, MRT, KTM
Tap in with a contactless bank card at LRT and MRT stations. Use the LRT Kelana Jaya Line or MRT Putrajaya Line to drop directly at KLCC. For Camp5 1Utama, take the MRT Kajang Line directly to the Bandar Utama station.
Airport Transfers
KLIA connects directly to the city center via the KLIA Ekspres train to KL Sentral, or by taxi and e-hailing. Subang Airport (SZB) is closer if you are flying in on a regional carrier. Both airports sit outside the central area, so plan your ground transfer in advance.

Staying near your main venue cuts down on daily travel time. The city center is the ideal middle ground if you are splitting time across venues.
Near KLCC, city centre and Camp5 Ombak
Bukit Bintang & KLCC
Ideal if you want to stay within walking distance of the central exhibition at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. You will have direct access to transit, dining, and nightlife.
Near Camp5 KL Eco City & Bangsar
Mid Valley & KL Eco City
A convenient option if you are spending time at Camp5 KL Eco City. Connected directly to Mid Valley Megamall, this area sits just two train stops from KL Sentral for easy city connections.
Near Camp5 1Utama
Bandar Utama & Petaling Jaya
Several hotels sit within walking distance of 1Utama itself. This is the best choice if your focus is primarily on activities based around the Petaling Jaya area.
Refuel Like A Local
KL runs on mamak stalls, hawker stands, and mall food courts that stay open late, perfect for a post-climb appetite.
Jalan Alor
A lively Kuala Lumpur food street known for its local hawker stalls, seafood and late-night dining, just a short ride from KLCC. Perfect for experiencing the city’s food scene after a day at the summit.
1Utama's Food Halls
1 Utama's own food court and surrounding Bandar Utama eateries make refueling after a workshop easy — no need to leave the mall.
Mamak Culture
Open-late mamak stalls are a KL staple — roti canai, teh tarik, and conversation well past midnight, found across both sides of the city.
