TERMS & CONDITIONS

ABOUT THESE TERMS
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of klclimbingweek.com (the "Site") and your purchase of tickets, registrations and exhibitor booths for KL Climbing Week and its events, including the Asian Climbing Summit, CRANK Boulder and associated workshops (the "Events").
The Site and Events are operated by Stretchmarks Asia Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 200001003300) ("we", "us", "our").
By using the Site, buying a ticket, registering or booking a booth, you agree to these Terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy (klclimbingweek.com/privacy-policy) and Cookie Policy.
TICKETS & REGISTRATION
All tickets and registrations are subject to availability.
Prices are listed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and include applicable Sales and Service Tax (SST).
Your order is confirmed only once payment has been received and we have sent you a confirmation.
Tickets are for personal use. They may not be resold, and may only be transferred to another person with our prior written permission. To request a transfer, email info@asianclimbingsummit.com.
You must provide accurate and complete information when you buy or register. We may refuse entry if your details are false or incomplete.
PAYMENT
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Exhibitor booth payments are made through a Tally form with Stripe payments built in. By paying, you also agree to the terms of these providers.
We do not store your full card details.
We are not responsible for errors, delays or failures caused by the payment provider.
REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
All tickets, registrations and exhibitor deposits are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law.
If we reschedule an Event, your ticket, registration or booking remains valid for the new date.
If we cancel an Event, tickets, registrations and deposits are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law.
Any refund request permitted under these Terms or by law must be made in writing to info@asianclimbingsummit.com, with your name, order details and reason for the request.
Nothing in this section affects your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or any other law that cannot be excluded.
COMPETITOR TERMS (CRANK BOULDER)
Competitors must register in the correct category based on age and experience. We may move a competitor to a different category or refuse registration where details are incorrect.
Climbing is a physical activity with inherent risks of injury. By registering, you acknowledge these risks, agree to compete at your own risk, follow all safety rules, and comply with the instructions of event staff and officials.
Competitors may be required to complete a separate waiver and liability release before competing, as directed by the event or venue organisers.
Participants under 18 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian.
We may disqualify any competitor for unsafe conduct, rule violations or unsporting behaviour, without refund.
EXHIBITOR TERMS
A booth booking is confirmed only once full payment of the deposit has been received. Booths may be held temporarily while you complete payment; unpaid holds are released automatically and bookings without payment will not be accepted.
Booth deposits are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law.
Booth locations, sizes and layouts are shown as a guide and may be adjusted where necessary for safety, venue or operational reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to provide a comparable booth.
Exhibitors are responsible for their stand, staff, products, displays and conduct on-site, and for any damage they cause.
Exhibitors must comply with all venue rules, setup and breakdown times, and any instructions from event staff, which we will provide before the Event.
Exhibitors are responsible for any licences, permits or insurance required for their activities and products.
CODE OF CONDUCT
We are committed to a safe, respectful and inclusive event. We may refuse entry to, or remove, any attendee, competitor or exhibitor whose behaviour is unsafe, harassing, discriminatory or disruptive, without refund.
MEDIA & PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography and filming will take place at the Events. By attending, you consent to being photographed or filmed, and to the use of that footage by us for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media and marketing materials.
If you would like a photo or video of yourself removed, email info@asianclimbingsummit.com with details and we will make reasonable efforts to remove it.
We make every effort not to publish photos of children under the age of 18.
CHANGES TO THE EVENT
We aim to deliver each Event as advertised, but we may change the programme, speakers, schedule or venue where necessary. We will tell ticket holders, registrants and exhibitors about any material changes.
We are not liable for any failure or delay in delivering an Event caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, public health emergencies, government orders, venue closures, or civil unrest.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or attendance at an Event, including travel and accommodation costs.
We are not responsible for loss of, or damage to, personal belongings at an Event.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on the Site, including logos, text, images and branding, is owned by or licensed to us and may not be used without our written permission.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page, with the "Last updated" date above. The Terms in force at the time of your purchase apply to that purchase.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
